This week the Priestly Days are celebrated in Galicia, a meeting of spirituality and formation

January begins with a series of days framed within the traditional Priestly Days of the Archdiocese of Santiago.

For three days there will be reflection on the development of priestly spirituality and formation and a meeting will be held with the Archbishop of Santiago, Monsignor Francisco Prieto.

The Conference will take place over three days in three different venues. On Monday the 13th they begin in Pontevedra, on Tuesday the 14th in Santiago and on Wednesday the 15th in La Coruña.

The first day, Mrs. Teresa Valero, delegate of First Announcement in the Diocese of Solsonawill open the sessions with a talk on pastoral recycling and priestly leadership. The next day, the professor of Canon Law at the Pontifical University of Salamanca, D. José San José Prisco, will address the application of synodality in communities, based on his recent experience as a synodal expert in Rome.

The Archdiocese of Santiago organizes a conference under the title:

On the third and last day, the day will begin with a meditation by Mons. Francisco Prieto. Subsequently, Mr. Luis Bernadal, director of the Minors’ Office, will speak on the protection of minors in communities and ecclesiastical entities.

On the other hand, Mr. José Antonio Montero Vilar, from Aristeia Abogados, will offer a presentation on regulatory compliance and management of personal information, followed by Mr. Daniel Turnes, member of the Economic Affairs Commission, who will discuss sustainability in the Church.
