Virginia Villar, a graduate in Art History from the University of Valladolid, combines in her work a solid technical training with a deep artistic sensibility that allows her to reinterpret influences of teachers such as Edward Hopper, Caspar David Friedrich and German romanticism, creating its own universe .

Villar, a graduate in Art History from the University of Valladolid (UVA), began his artistic training at an early age, specializing in academic drawing at the José Luis Rodríguez Posadas school. His work has been recognized in national competitions such as the Autumn Workshop in the province of Valladolid and the Ciudad de Valladolid painting contest, as well as in the prestigious Gredos Painting Awards. In addition to his artistic facet, he combines teaching and is an active part of the Castilian and Leonese artistic fabric as a vocal by Valladolid in the Association of Visual Artists of Castilla y León (Ava).
