The great unknown surrounding the case is whether Rojas Murillo died accidentally or if there is a more serious responsibility attributable to Moura. “The idea is to look for a certain profile in him that can be linked to these practices,” the source stressed, and announced that the musician will undergo a psychiatric examination in the next few hours.

“In the analysis of her phone, information related to the same thing and the reconstruction of its context will also be sought. “We want to get data from their intimate core to investigate that point,” the researcher added. Another object of analysis will be social networks: “The conservation of the different profiles of both will be requested and then examined.”

The preliminary autopsy report by the La Plata Police Morgue established that death occurred due to “extrinsic cervical compression resulting from hanging.” In the early morning of January 3, when detectives arrived at the house located on 419th and 131st streets, they found the woman’s body lying on the living room floor. He had a rope around his neck and was tied to a ceiling brace.

Currently the woman lived in Villarrica, southern Chile. He had traveled to Argentina to meet the musician, with whom he had established a virtual dialogue two years ago until, months ago, he finally met him in person on a previous excursion to Buenos Aires.

Rojas Murillo’s family denied a romantic relationship with Moura, at least on a formal level. What scenarios does Julio Moura face in court?

“Wrongful homicide”: with sentences of 1 to 5 years in prison, extendable to 6 years in case of aggravating circumstances. Given a hypothesis that contemplates this type of crime, Moura could benefit from his lack of criminal record and mitigate an effective sentence to serve a conditional execution sentence.
“Homicide with possible intent”: provides penalties of between 8 and 25 years in prison. It would be applied if Justice manages to prove that the person involved could have posed the risk of death and, even so, decided to continue.
“Pre-intentional homicide”: which contemplates penalties similar to “wrongful homicide.” It occurs when the perpetrator does not seek or want death, and this is a secondary and unforeseen consequence of another intentional action. It would be the hypothesis that would gain weight if it is proven that the sexual practice was consensual.
