“What scares me now is not to make the most of”

Tina Knowles, Beyoncé’s mother has just published her “Matriarch” memoir and to the surprise of many, written in him, tells one of the toughest and most brave chapters of his life.
He reveals that she was diagnosed with breast cancer in July 2024 and that she faced it in silence, protected by her most intimate circle according to information shared by the country.
Being free of the disease, finally, Knowles, decided to tell their story, to hope the people suffering from the pathology that has devastated many lives.
The cancer came without warning, while writing the book and launched the hair care line, Cécred, with Beyoncé, when she was diagnosed in stage 1, of her left bosom.
Knowles said he had postponed his routine mammography for years, mistakenly believing that he had already done it and rescued that “you can’t play with that.”
Through interviews and his book, Knowles reveals every step: surgery, chest reduction, the infection that followed and the cancellation of commitments.
He also explained that it was Beyoncé who insisted on resting and prioritizing while sought to address the situation with actions, while, Solange, her other daughter, Solange, who hugged her with a firm certainty: “Mom, we will take care of this.”
His voice, always protective towards his family, now becomes a shield for other women. “I decided to speak because this story can save lives,” he confesses.
Without family history, without predisposing genes, cancer chosen it the same. That is why he insists on prevention as an act of self -esteem. “As women, we are so busy that we forget to take care of ourselves. But if I hadn’t done the test, I wouldn’t be here.”
Matriarch is not just an autobiography. It is a letter to his offspring, a defense of his lineage, and an offering for all women who need to hear that, even in the dark, there is light.
