Synopsis

The story of “Wicked” tells the origins of Elphaba, an intelligent young woman and emerald green skin who, after being misunderstood by society, becomes the dreaded bad witch of the West. The film reminds us of its passage through the university, where Elphaba starts a complex friendship with Glinda, a young charismatic destined to be the good witch of the north. Set in the world of Oz, the film explores how prejudices, power and truth transform their lives, long before the arrival of Dorothy.
