The official trailer was released simultaneously in all the time areas of North America in more than 100 film rooms in the United States and Canada. “So that all attendees can see the trailer at the same time, no matter where they live.”

Synopsis

The new “Wicked” installment will develop what happened after the end of part 1 of the film, which presented the history of Elphaba and Glinda’s trip in search of the great Wizard of Oz. The title of the film, “Wicked: For Good” is a clear reference to one of the culminating moments of the second act of the musical, the “for good” ballad, which play the characters of Glinda and Elphaba.

In the second part, our protagonists face a new reality. Glinda will be Glinda La Buena, the hope for the citizens of Oz that we saw at the beginning of part 1. On the other hand, Nessarose is the mayor of Munchkinland; and the Magician and Madame Morrible propaganda campaign against Elphaba has reached unexpected levels. Finally, Fiyero becomes the captain of the Magician Guard for the desire to find and help Elphaba.

All these changes in history also imply changes in the image of the characters, which are appreciated in the first advances of “Wicked for Good.”

Premiere date

“Wicked for Good” will premiere in Cinemas in North America on Friday, November 21, 2025. In Latin American countries such as Peru, Colombia and Argentina will be available in Salas since Thursday, November 20.
