Nearly 50 people living illegally in Colorado were arrested Sunday morning after federal Drug Enforcement Administration agents and other partners raided a makeshift nightclub in Adams County, federal officials said.

DEA officials said just under 50 undocumented immigrants, some of them associated with the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua, were detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.
The raid, which federal officials said on social media was designed to target drug trafficking and the Tren de Aragua gang, occurred in the 6600 block of Federal Avenue, according to Denver7. The operation began around 9:00 pm on Saturday and agents entered the warehouse around 3:00 am

The exact number of people arrested was not available Sunday morning, but DEA officials said “dozens” of people linked to the Venezuelan gang were detained.
