A thunderstorm trio hits the US and threatens “mortal” sliding landslides in California

The winter climate is gaining strength in the United States and does not seem to improve soon.
Two consecutive winter storms whipped the north and east of the United States with snow and ice last week, while the heavy rains soaked California.
This week another three strong storms are coming and the first two will whip some of the same areas in a succession so fast that it will almost seem a single storm.
This is what you can expect from each of them:
The first storm of the week will take place in the big plains on Monday night and will expand rapidly to get to the east coast on Tuesday.
This storm will move further to the south than any of last week and put some areas that avoided a winter disaster in it. Some parts of the Apalaches, the Middle Atlantic and the southernmost areas of the Northeast will be affected by snow and frozen rain at least until Wednesday morning.
The ice will be the greatest danger of the storm and it is likely that dangerous amounts will be reached in some parts of the beads. The accumulations could exceed 6 mm in parts of Virginia Occidental, Virginia Occidental and northwest of North Carolina.
“The accumulation of ice in the electricity lines and in the branches of the trees can cause numerous power cuts,” the National Meteorological Service in Blacksburg, Virginia, warned on Monday.
Traveling during and after the storm could be “almost impossible” and any energy cut “can last several days” in these areas, according to the NWS.
A snowfire will fall north of the worst frost from Tuesday to Wednesday. The snow could fall copiously and accumulate rapidly in some areas, such as Washington. They may fall up to 15 centimeters of snow in the capital of the country, and it is likely that the most intense snowfall will begin on Tuesday night and continue during the night. The new snow will be added to an already impressive winter total to date. In Washington, as much snow has fallen since December 1 as in the last two winters together.
The snow will also cover parts of Pennsylvania to New Jersey and the southern end of New England. In New York City they probably fall between two and five centimeters of snow.
The heavy rains will soak the areas of the south side, warmer, of the storm. It is possible that torrential rains occur in a wide area of the south on Tuesday and Wednesday: according to the meteorological prediction center, during this time there is a level of risk 2 of 4 for parts of all states, from Texas to Las Carolinas, Included many areas that are still recovering from Hurricane Helene.
The next storm will be formed in the US center while its predecessor continues to wear snow and ice to the east and rain to the south. Snow, ice and rain are expected on the plains during the night from Tuesday to Wednesday morning. This winter disaster will run quickly on Wednesday to cover much of the west medium and parts of the northeast at night.
Most of the storm will be on the east coast on Thursday morning, with snow and ice hitting the northeast and rain falling further south. In some parts of the east, only a few hours will pass between the end of the first storm and the beginning of the second.
The total snowfall of this storm will be higher in the plains and the west medium. They could approach 25 cm in Kansas City, Missouri, on Wednesday, about twice what the city usually receives throughout February.
It is also possible that on Wednesday they fall more than 25 cm of snow in Chicago, which would be enough to be the most important snowfall of the city so far this season. The city has received about 17 cm of snow since December, when the city is usually registered almost sixty centimeters for this point.
Ice will suppose an important problem just south from which the most intense snow drop is expected. It is possible that at least a slight lay layer of ice will be formed, enough to hinder the displacements, anywhere from Oklahoma and Kansas to the Ohio and the Northeast Valley.
Some parts of the Apalaches will receive another ice round from this storm. It is possible that some of the places most affected by the first storm do not notice a break between the two storms, since frozen rainfall decreases, but does not cease completely on Wednesday afternoon.
The storm will end largely on Thursday night.
This storm will be different from the previous two, since California will first hit completely formed. It also presents the most serious flood threat to which southern California has faced since the devastating forest fires of January.
The atmospheric storm fed by rivers will have a significant impact and will begin with rains along much of the state coast early Thursday. The rains will be more intense throughout the day as they enter inside and extend throughout the state.
More than 34 million people in California are under a level 2 of 4 flood risk for Thursday’s rains, according to the WPC. The Threat area covers San Francisco, Sacramento, Los Angeles and the intermediate areas.
Heavy rains have an even greater risk for areas burned by recent mortal forest fires.
“This storm has the potential to bring potentially mortal debris flows in and under the recent fire scars,” the National Meteorological Service of Los Angeles warned Monday. They may fall between two and five centimeters of rain on the Los Angeles basin.
This storm will also bring strong snow to Sierra Nevada and the mountainous areas of western California. It will continue east on Thursday night and Friday and will arrive at the plains early on Saturday morning.
An increase in atmospheric energy will revitalize the powerful storm and significantly expand its size once it reaches the US center will fall on the west medium on Saturday and will reach much of the northeast at night. Aguanieve and ice is possible to mix with snow in the northeast, with rain mainly in the areas more south on Saturday night.
Heavy rains and electric storms will dominate the warm and southern side of this storm. Some thunderstorms could become intense, especially in some parts of the south. The hazardous thunderstorms can occur at any time of the year; Some became mortal last week in Tennessee.
The great storm will continue to hit the east coast on Sunday before decreasing to a large extent on Monday morning. But it may not be the end of the busy winter climate, since it is possible that another storm occurs in the middle of next week.
