Cinemas emit warnings for disorder during functions of ‘Minecraft’ and reinforce security measures

A cinemas in the United Kingdom was forced to broad A Minecraft movie.

However, the film, known for its strong cultural influence, especially among the young public, unleashed a wave of chaos and disorder in cinemas from several countries.

In videos shared on social networks, scenes are shown where the public throws food and popcorn, shouts strongly, says rudeness and maintains a noisy atmosphere. In several cases, some people jump from their seats while dozens of children and adolescents laugh and record the uproar with their phones.

In a cinema in the United States, the police intervened to control the uproar, after the attendees refused to calm down. This situation led to the Reel chain, in the city of Fareham, to publish a warning aimed at the public.

“To ensure that everyone enjoy the best possible experience in the cinema, we increase supervision within the rooms during the functions,” said a spokesman in statements to the Daily Echo.

“Inappropriate behavior, including participation in Tiktok trends before, during or after the film, will not be tolerated. Those who cause disturbances will be expelled, and if necessary, the police will be called.”

This measure adds to a similar warning issued by Cineworld cinema, located on Renfrew Street in Glasgow, where inappropriate behaviors were also reported in their functions.

One of the most striking moments of the trailer shows the characters of Black and Momoa confronted in a boxing ring against a cubic chicken, inspired by the universe of Minecraftwhich appears mounted by another character. “Chickn Jockey! (Poultry rider), shouts Black’s character, in a clear reference to the video game, which causes an euphoric reaction of the public.

In social networks, several people reported that they witnessed – or even were part of – similar scenes.

In contrast, some film workers used Tiktok to ask the public not to cause disorder during functions and avoid leaving garbage or causing a disaster in the rooms.

“I work in a cinema. When they throw water, popcorn and all that to other people, as many do it lately, we are much more complicated,” said a user.

“I also work in a cinema. Please, they are not upset. I was two days of the premiere and it was a nightmare. There is nothing wrong with the important moments, but do not begin to shout rudeness,” said another worker.
