Tonight, Katy Perry will offer the first of three concerts in the Arena Mexico Citybut it won’t do it alone. In addition to its audience, the pop star will be accompanied by a Mexican band that begins to leave their mark inside the music scene: Midnight Generation.
Formed in 2015 in Chihuahua, the group merges the funk, the album and the electronics, and has already reached LTAN such as the Lollapalooza, the Tecate Pa’l Norte and, recently, in the 2025 edition of Vive Latino, where they shone for their proposal.
The news was released on the social networks of the group, where they published a message for the American: “Katy, ready to follow our rhythm? We will light the track only for you!” They wrote.

They launched their first EP, Funk Your Bones, in 2015 and a year later they took out the funk your bones (Side B), calling the audience attention very quickly.
It was until 2020 that the group launched its first complete album, Odyssey, in which they included songs like “Together” and “Ghosts” that soon placed themselves within the public’s taste.
This work was followed by “Afterlife” and in 2025 they launched “Tender Love”, and although most of their songs are in English, in this last album they experiment with music in Spanish.
In Spotify the band already has more than 455 thousand monthly listeners; While on Instagram they exceed 200,000 followers who did not hesitate to congratulate them for their achievement:
