Hollywood personalities like Kim Kardashian, Eva Longoria or Katy Perry and Hispanic artists covering from Pedro Pascal A Gloria Estefan showed their support for protests against the migratory raids of the president of the US, Donald Trump.
Kim Kardashian was one of the last to call the raids of the United States Immigration Service (ICE) in Los Angeles as “inhuman” and defending the contribution of immigrants to American society.
“Growing up in Los Angeles, I have seen how deeply immigrants are integrated into the fabric of this city. They are our neighbors, friends, classmates and work, and family,” he shared in a text spread on his social networks.

A similar message transmitted the American singer Katy Perry, in which he wondered how “a city built on Mexican work, history and culture to turn and criminalize the same people who molded it.”
Phinneas O’Connell, winner of a Grammy and brother of singer Billie Eillish, has not only shown her rejection of Trump’s policies, but also reported that last weekend she was present in the massive protests of Los Angeles.

Artists with Hispanic roots have raised the voice against the raids and have positioned themselves in favor of the protesters who have been peaceful for six days in the Californian city.

This is the case of Eva Longoria, with Hispanic Roots, which in a video shared in their social networks called to have more compassion for people who migrate to other countries in search of a better life.
“We all agree that nobody wants criminals in our country (…) but it is not what is happening. These raids are happening at birthday parties, in graduations, in stores … those are not criminals,” said the actress.
