Jennifer Lopez He suffered a facial injury while rehearsing for the next American Music Awards 2025.
The singer of “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” went to her Instagram Stories in the last hours of Tuesday, May 13 to share photos taken a week before captured the magnitude of the incident.
Sharing a photo of herself holding an ice bag about her right eye, Lopez, 55, wrote: “So this happened …”, before publishing a second image that revealed a swollen nose and a cut that crossed it. His right eye also seemed to be bruised, and Lopez subtitled the photo, “(during the essays of @amas)”.
The second image also showed redness under the right eye of Lopez and on his right cheek.
A third Story confirmed that music needed points to help in his recovery, and Lopez shared a photo of herself with a plastic facial surgeon based on Beverly Hills and subtitled it, “Thank you for giving me points, Dr. Diamond. A week later and with a lot of ice, I am like new.”
In the final photo, Lopez is smiling at the camera without any defect in sight, apparently in recovery and leaving the incident behind while focusing on his presenter’s role in the 2025 amas, which will be transmitted from Las Vegas on the day of the fallen.
This is not the first time that Lopez suffers a health incident related. In 2009, he suffered bruises after a fall while acting in the event.
