Kim Kardashian, Pedro Pascal and Eva Longoria lift their voice against ICE raids in Los Angeles and defend migrants

Between complaints and accusations towards the actions of US President Donald Trump, who mobilized the customs immigration and control service (ICE) to deport migrants, entertainment personalities have ruled on social networks, qualifying these measures as “inhuman”, “unfair” and even “oligarchs.”
The visibility of these raids has increased over the days, while dozens of Californians join the protests against migratory actions that seek to identify undocumented people in Latin neighborhoods for deportation.
Given these policies, Latin figures such as Pedro Pascal have come out in defense of migrants. Also celebrities such as Kim Kardashian have criticized the measures through their social networks, especially on Instagram, where it exceeds 356 million followers.
Criticisms are added to pronouncements such as that of the governor of California, Gavin Newsom, who reported that in Los Angeles control points have been established that have generated fear among the population. To this is added complaints in social networks for the violence with which the raids are carried out, which has generated a wave of reactions by public figures.
One of the most visible voices has been Kim Kardashian, who pointed out on his Instagram account that authorities like ICE were created to protect citizens, not to act inhumanly:
“When they tell us that ICE exists to keep our country safe and deport violent criminals, it’s fine. But when we see innocent and hardworking people being torn from their families in inhuman ways, we have to raise our voice,” said the businesswoman.
He added that, having grown up in Los Angeles, one of the cities with the greatest Latin population in the country, has witnessed how migrants are an essential part of the local culture:
“They are our neighbors, friends, classmates and work, and family,” he said. “We cannot turn a blind eye when fear and injustice prevent people from living their lives freely and safely. There must be a better way,” he concluded.

Chilean actor Pedro Pascal shared on Instagram an emotional video in which the importance of the diversity of migrant communities for the sustainability of Los Angeles stands out. He accompanied him with the message: “Los Angeles. Built for the best of the US.” and the hashtags “#ProtejamosanuestrosProtectores” and “#Resistence”.
For his part, Eva Longoria described the actions of ICE and Trump’s policies, and said he cannot imagine what people feel in Los Angeles, Texas and other cities in the country before the daily raids against migrants.
During the Bet 2025 awards ceremony, Rapa Doechii raised his voice: “I want to talk about what is happening outside, just now. There are ruthless attacks that are sowing fear and chaos in our communities on behalf of the law and order. Trump is using military forces to suffocate a protest.”
He reflected that everyone should live with hope, not with fear, and expressed their support for Latin, black and migrant communities.
Marvel actor, Mark Ruffalo, also spoke for what happened in Los Angeles. He affirmed that Trump’s policies reflect a drift towards “oligarchy”, facing working class people:
“They are pointing their weapons in the wrong direction,” he said.
