Disney launched on Tuesday (May 20) the first trailer of ZOOTOPIA 2in which Shakira takes up his role as Gazelle’s voice.

Last November it was announced that Colombian Superstar would return to Vocal Power to Gazelle, the fiercely independent antelope that fascinated the public with his brilliant skirt of currencies inspired by the belly dance and his inspiring hymn “Try Everything” in the 2016 animated film.

Directed by Oscar Jared Bush and Byron Howard winners, ZOOTOPIA 2 It brings together the singer of “Whenever, Wherever” with actors Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman, who resume their roles such as the detectives Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde. Together, they are ready to discover secrets in new corners of the extensive metropolis of mammals.

In the new advance, Nick, Judy and Gary – a new snake character played by Ke Huy Quan – flee from the police through several parts of Zootopia when they find a mysterious hooded figure with bright eyes. The trailer also presents new characters such as Castora Nibbles (Fortune Feimster), and Dr. Fuzzby, a Cuoca therapist (fifth Brunson).

With her blonde hair and her “hips that do not lie” (yes, Shakira worked with Disney to give Gazelle more curves on the original tape), it is expected that the endearing character of the Colombian singer will contribute even more emotion – and heart – to the second part.

And with Shakira currently dominating the stadiums around the world with their world tour, women no longer cry, which has achieved historical milestones, their star power shines even more. That is what makes Gazelle’s return even more exciting for fans of all ages.

The artist recently celebrated the 20 years of “Hips Don’t Lie” in The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallonwhere he also interpreted his dear Ballad of 1996 “Anthology” in the night program on Monday (May 19). In addition, it will stop Montreal, Chicago, Boston, Phoenix and San Diego as part of their tour of the United States, before concluding in San Francisco on June 30.
