The Secretariat of Spirituality of the Archbishopric of Valencia organizes a course on “Lectio Divina: God’s Gift to Christians of the 21st Century”, which will begin next Saturday, October 26.
The course will be taught at the San Pascual Bailón parish in Valencia, located at 10 Doctor Moliner Street, on the last Saturday of each month, until next June, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The first session will take place this Saturday, in which the contents of the course will be presented. Thus, the day will feature a presentation of the “Lectio Divina”, personal testimonies, as well as a brief tour of the course contents.
The initiative aims to follow “the recommendation of the Dei Verbum constitution of the Second Vatican Council to promote Lectio Divina to the general public, whose importance was affirmed by Pope Benedict XVI at the beginning of the 21st century.”
