The Secretariat of Spirituality of the Archbishopric of Valencia offers new programming for the 2024-205 academic year, with conferences and activities that will be focused on the Jubilee of 2025 called by Pope Francis with the motto “Pilgrims of Hope.”
Thus, the fundamental objective of this course will be to deepen the Hope and joy of Jubilee 2025. Therefore, the conferences will cover a broad agenda, which will highlight different aspects of prayer and a deepening of the Jubilee, reports from the Secretariat.
All conferences will be broadcast on the Archbishopric’s YouTube Channel. They will begin on October 30, with “The Prayer of Jesus”, by the Bishop Emeritus of Huelva, Mons. José Vilaplana, and will run until the month of May. They will take place at the headquarters of the Vicariate of Evangelization, on Avellanas Street, 12, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Spirituality activities aim to “encourage the encounter with God through prayer retreats and spiritual exercises and strengthen the encounter with the word of God through Lectio divina.” All of them “will help us grow integrally at the service of our diocesan Church at the service of the Kingdom of God.”
