SPIRITUALITY

Facing fascism, spirituality

There is a new social awakening about what spiritualbeyond the religious (even sometimes in parallel and other times in contrast), where people respond to fundamental questions from a transcendent perspective, either from the immanent or from the abstract; can the spiritual be found in something so mundane as the common good or from a conception of an interconnection between living beings. In private and collectively, humanity continues to orient itself to ritual practices that allow them to understand themselves and the world around them: these spiritualities or their experience derive in ethical practices of self careprotection of nature and care from an emotional otherness. At the same time, as if light could not arise without shadow, there is a resurgence of values Complete opposites inspired by the worst version of capitalism and the way we organize ourselves, that is, the rebirth of it fascism that has plunged us more than once into the swamp of fear.

Fascism has many faces, it is chameleonic: It can now be presented as a “libertarian” discourse (if market freedom has anything free) and conservative, but in reality it is fear of the different, the new and the potentially sublime. The tragedy of political scene It is the alliance between corporations and governments, where it is not possible to distinguish where the exercise of power and money begins and where the voice of the public remains. marginalized sectors and unprotected. In the fight of colossal interestsof commercial conflicts, the people are trampled and violated with new forms of exploitation and oppression. Simultaneously, we are forced to consume, to continue maintaining the standard of living of those who enrich themselves with suffering and injustice. They try to take everything from us: mental and physical health, natural resources and the possibilities of building a future in dignity and peace. However, this discomfort (not to call it Evil) cannot take away our hope. This phrase is commonplace and is often related to an expression of naivety, but there is nothing weak or passive about it, hope is faith in movement and as long as that faith drives us to seek the dignity of humanity and allows us to move forward, I will consider its revolutionary and subversive aspect.

The machinery of market It devours everything except our ability to cope with it. The new order of the world demands greater courage from us and nothing better to obtain that courage than the most intimate and sacred, that which the hands of the class political-business they can’t touch: spiritual. From that spirituality that cries out for justice and the common good we find the strength not to cooperate with evil, not to become participants, accomplices or silent throats that resign themselves to the fate of those who are observed as disposable products.

In spirituality we take refuge and organize ourselves to fight against an unjust society that prevents migrationalthough it provokes her; that poverty bothers him, although he benefits from inequality and dehumanizes so that our indifference and bowed head allows savagery to rule and those who operate it to benefit from it. There can be no progress without worker hands, there can be no food without peasant hands, in spirituality there is a gap for the different social groups to unite against the true adversary and stop serving him in submission.

The time has come for social spirituality.
