First National Youth Day 2025 culminates with an emotional Mass in the Monumental Lighthouse

The event brought together 4,000 young people from different cities in the country under the motto “we celebrate and appreciate” spirituality oriented.
This Sunday, the first National Youth Day (JNJ) 2025 at the Monumental Faro of La Serena was closed. This religious event brought together more than 4,000 young people, along with shepherds, advisors and animators from different cities in the country, in a massive closing mass.
The meeting, which began at 10:30 am, began with a lively musical in charge of the Ruha Band, followed by a block with the artists Pablo Cifuentes, Fernando Leiva and the father “Jota”, who motivated the young people in An atmosphere of spirituality and camaraderie.
The Mass was chaired by the Archbishop of La Serena and president of the Episcopal Conference of Chile, René Rebolledo, who highlighted the importance of the day and commitment of young people as «Agents of change in the Church and in society». In his speech, the archbishop urged those present to always remember his «Condition of calls and sent» and to live with commitment in the communities.
During the ceremony, a tribute was also paid to the families, volunteers and servants who contributed to the success of the religious event, while the participants reaffirmed their commitment to faith and the community.
The motto of the meeting, “we celebrate and appreciate,” reflected the spirit of the day, which managed to consolidate the participation of thousands of young people in an event loaded with meaning and spirituality.
